Capnography Use during Resuscitation and Rapid Response
Daniel Davis, MD will review the University of California San Diego use of capnography within their resuscitation and rapid response protocols and the improved outcomes associated with their program.
About the Speaker:
Daniel Davis, MD, has developed a primary interest in resuscitation research and has published a number of papers on the topic. He currently holds several grants in both basic and clinical science, including the Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium, which represents the largest resuscitation research effort in history. In addition, Dr. Davis serves as University of California San Diego (UCSD) Resuscitation Director as well as Director of the UCSD Center for Resuscitation Science. In this capacity, he has developed several award-winning resuscitation training programs that are used in both the inpatient and EMS environments. Lastly, Dr. Davis is Medical Director for a half-dozen air medical bases in Southern California and Scientific Advisor to Air Methods Corporation, the largest air medical provider in the world.
